7-10-09.  Dr. Tim Yoho, I am pleased to endorse your product.  As an Entomologist, I had tried many methods of ridding my log home of carpenter bees and carpenter ants.  Every year I sprayed a variety of insecticides which usually controlled the ants, but not the bees since they were in overwhelming numbers and favored the 20+ feet heights of the house where they were difficult to spray.  The bees had damaged my eave overhangs of the house so badly; I had to cover the wood with vinyl.

I mixed your NBS 30 additive with Sikikens Stain four years ago after I stripped the old stain from the logs.  In those four years, I have found only a single carpenter bee entrance hole and that was behind a drain pipe that was not properly coated with the stain NBS 30 mix.  The carpenter bees came back every year, but were repelled!... This 4th year I have purchased more NBS 30 and plan to mix it with a clear maintenance coat of Sikkens for application to the logs.
